My experience at a certain hotel in Phoenix was disappointing. the location of the hotel was convenient and close to family attractions. the room had comfortable beds and clean sheets. the bathroom had enough towels, and the shower had good water pressure. the staff was friendly and provided room service. the pool and spa were a nice way to relax. the TV had poor signal, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable.

The pool is lovely. Great hotel for a quick overnight stay but I would stay here for a whole holiday.
The breakfast didnt look particularly appetising so we went out instead to a lovely Pancake House a mile down the road.

When we arrived we saw a large building set back from the street. The activity was high with children playing with a ball and people milling around. We paid for our room and found a place to park. We opened the door to our room and found out why the high level of activity...the room was very nice. Clean and well apointed. So nice we stayed in and enjoyed the room rather than explore the city. We realized why the number of people. Nice rooms reasonably priced will attract guests. That is what occured here. Families could afford to travel at these prices. In fact there was an entire soccer team staying at the hotel. In the morning we were please to share breakfast with a wide variety of folks from every social strata. The only drawback was the food prep for breakfast. a little more time and effort could improve the quality. The dispensers for the cereal did not work well if at all, One family had the walffe iron for a considral amount of time, (maybe backup irons could be brought out for crowds) The scrambled eggs were not well beaten and in small amounts. Also the "Juice" wasn't juice it was cheap Nasty tasteing sweet liquid. Real juice is better. There was no jelly/jam for the toast or bagel or waffels. Bulk mini doughnuts could be replaced with real doughnuts or sweet rolls. Finally there was no clean up. No wet towels or people to clean up after a person/family left the table. Sweet sticky suryp on chairs and tables and counters with only tiny cheap paper napkins for a half-assed clean up. a wet towel would have been enough...in the hand of an employee in charge of the room a God-send. We would consider staying at another a Victory Inn & Suites.

The hotel location was close to a major highway and had plenty of parking spaces. the staff was friendly and accommodating when we requested extra towels. the room had a mini-fridge and a microwave, which was a convenient feature.
The room had a musty odor, and the carpet looked dirty and old. the furniture was outdated and showed signs of wear and tear.

The hotel offers affordable rates during the spring training season. The rooms have laminate floors which were appreciated as they were easy to keep clean. The hotel is conveniently located near various amenities and attractions.
The carpets were stained and there were pieces of trash left behind. The bathroom was not well-maintained, with black spots in the shower and something spilled on the sink.
